Enhancing Management style and Planting Management Skill – be the juiciest part of a sandwich
A 2-day training program given to both Hong Kong and Macau retail supervisors of an international luxury brand was conducted on 18th to 19th July. The participants were supposed to engage potential talents and plant their management skill sets with understanding 3 aspects: SOS (Self, Others and Situations) and developing 3 behaviors: AAA (Aware, Accept and Adapt) in the fast business environment.
Client Needs
Following the Boutique Manages program executed by A.PLUS last year, this one is to sustain the learning to second tiers in order to have comprehensive management understanding.
A.PLUS designed the training with the guidance of four-dimensional management based on the behavioral styles to learn directing & delegating, motivation and developing others, which helped participants understand the dynamics on influencing people and expanding spheres of influence to drive business results.
Program Focus
While understanding Everything DiSC® psychological behavior knowledge, the participants well mastered the strengths and blind spots of DiSC® behavioral type for themselves and others.
Various experiencing games having its underlying messages and interpretation had inspired the participants with core returns such as:
– adequate preparation and planning can help assist the company to achieve certain goals more efficiently and steadier outcome.
– Being flexible and adaptable to changes is always important
Eventually all the participants developed a growth mindset and adapted their behavioral styles consciously based on what they learnt, consistently enhance the skills to become excellent influencers for getting results without direct authority
The overall atmosphere of the training was delightful and pleasant due to the interesting interactions and inspiring approaches by the facilitator instead of tedious theories.
In conclusion, this 2-day program received satisfactory learning results and positive feedbacks by the participants, They had a better understanding of their unique DiSC styles and improved their skills of communication and management as the middle management group in the workplace. They would make good use of the knowledge and their personal strengths to encourage and boost the morale of the frontline staff and provide effective recommendations to the upper management to achieve an overall and sustainable success of the whole company, and be proud of being the juiciest part of sandwich.
