Effective Management Skills and Enhanced Leadership Capability Coping with the changing Environment

One of critical elements for successful company in 21st Century requires a sense of solidarity on driving business outcomes continuously under challenging and changing business environment. A Japanese Global Electronics Provider had two levels programs target their middle management on management skills in mid of November, and focus on enhancing leadership capability of their top management in December.

The 2-days middle management training program of “4-Diamentional Management in Action” focuses on effective management skills by applying with Everything DiSC® Management profile.

In these two days, 24 managers from different departments explored how to effectively share and exchange information and ideas among departments’ managers for collaborating actions, enhance individual understanding of management strengths and blind spots, and also learnt how to unleash subordinate potentials for better team management in terms of directing & delegating, motivating & influencing, development of subordinates.

Last but not least, they also refreshed management team strategy and synergy with leadership concept

Subsequently, the top management experienced “Strategic Leadership in Actions” focusing on unleashing hidden leadership by applying with Everything DiSC® Work of Leaders profile to achieving company goal and synergizing with senior management to have better alignment on execution.

By the end of the program, the top management team learned:
 strategically build common management & leadership concepts with the middle managers
 get latest insights of various leaders’ practices in the market with realistic framework of VAE
 understand your own leadership style and others’ style and explore how your tendencies influence your effectiveness in specific leadership situations to manage self and team in the changing environment

By facilitating with Everything DiSC® Work of Leaders profiles, 9 General Managers in the region strengthened their self-awareness in key leadership areas. The practical leadership model Vision-Alignment-Execution (VAE) gave them tangible steps to unleash hidden leadership and synergize with senior management to have better alignment on execution.
